We wanted to go Christmas caroling this year and asked a bunch of friends if they wanted to go. We were so excited to get some takers! About 7 of us families and a couple others went. We ended up going to about 12 elderly couples' houses from church. We only ran into one house that had a family Christmas get together going on:) They insisted we stay and actually talked us into coming in and joining them as they were singing in their house already. SO we did and we all sang together:)
The vans were very full; full of people and cheer! Everyone had a very blessed time and would love to do it again sometime! After we got home, I pulled out my "elderly people and shut-ins" list and told James that we had barely made a dent in it! SO many more places we could have went to....but the evening was full! Maybe another year!

We had a table at the Artisan Fair/Bazaar this year. It was alot of fun for all of us! The kids each had something to sell....Blayne had pies...Alexa had hats...Chauntel had suckers/candy...and Zac had kindling bundles. They did really well and totally enjoyed being able to take turns sitting with me there. I enjoyed the one on one with each of them. Fun times...
Here is the big snack mix that we made for our neighbors this year. We like to make it a family project each year to make something to give away. I think the kids felt a little disappointed that I picked something so quick and easy this year! They thought we got done way too quickly. The pasty that I made for some of them took a bit longer:)
So Christmas time is past.....looking forward to some snow now!!! Hopefully this week it will come!
